Bumble Bees (3 yrs - 4 yrs)

Our preschoolers learn an approach to learning itself; in other words, they
learn how to learn. Due to our focus on the current educational needs,
children come to view learning as creative exploration, instead of dull
memorization. Bumble bees are naturally very curious about the world around
them, and they are capable of learning a great deal about its workings: how
seeds sprout, how water flows, how clay feels when its pushed and pulled,
how colors change when paints mix, what makes one block tower balance
and another fall over, and so on. AM2PM's comprehensive curriculum is build
on three-year-olds "I can do it!" attitude through integrated, hands-on activities.
Trained teachers use experimentation and exploration to build higher-level
thinking, language, math, technological, social, and motor skills with the fun
and challenging learning experiences. Our children’s experiences with
communication and literacy begin to form the basis for their later school
success. Mathematics learning builds on children’s curiosity and enthusiasm,
and challenges children to explore ideas about patterns and relationships,
order and predictability, and logic and meaning. Bumble bees are natural
scientists.  They are eager to discover all they can about the world in which
they live.  In this classroom, children participate in simple investigations that
help them begin to develop the skills of asking questions, gathering
information, communicating findings, and making informed decisions.
